Denkigai no Honya-san , also known by the abbreviation Denki-gai , is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Asato Mizu. It depicts slice of life stories about a group of characters who work in a fictional doujin shop called Umanohone , a reference to the real-life doujin shop Comic Toranoana . It was serialized in Media Factory's Comic Flapper magazine from June 2011 to November 2017. A drama CD was released in August 2013. An anime television series adaptation produced by Shin-Ei Animation aired from October to December 2014.

Shin-Ei Animation Co., Ltd. is a Japanese animation studio owned by TV Asahi and founded in Tokyo in 1965 as A Production by Daikichirō Kusube, who was previously an animator for Toei Animation and a successor of both former Asahi Eigasha that was founded in 1936 and Shin-Asahi Eigasha that was founded in 1938.
