Ica is a department of Peru. It borders the Pacific Ocean on the west; Lima to the north; Huancavelica and Ayacucho to the east; and Arequipa to the south. It is administered by a regional government.

The Ballestas Islands are a group of small islands near the town of Paracas within the Paracas District of the Pisco Province in the Ica Region, on the south coast of Peru.
