Eriophorum latifolium, commonly known as broad-leaved bog-cotton and broad leaved cotton grass is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Cyperaceae.
The Cyperaceae are a family of graminoid, monocotyledonous flowering plants known as sedges. The family contains around 5,500 described species in about 90 genera – the largest being the "true sedges"
