Forward Party (United States)
The Forward Party, also known simply as Forward (FWD), is a centrist political party in the United States. As of early 2024, Forward has ballot access in the states of Colorado, Florida, South Carolina, Utah, and Virginia. It is looking to achieve ballot access in all 50 states by the end of 2024 or early 2025. The party, founded by former Democratic 2020 presidential and 2021 New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Yang, describes its goals as the reduction of partisan polarization and the implementing of electoral reforms.

Andrew Yang is an American businessman, attorney, lobbyist, author, and politician. Yang was a candidate in the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries and the 2021 New York City Democratic mayoral primary. He founded the political party and action committee Forward Party in 2021, for which he serves as co-chair alongside former New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman.
