Gebrochts refers to matzo that has absorbed liquid. Avoidance of gebrochts or "Non Gebrochts" is an aspect of Passover kashrut observed by many in the Hasidic Jewish community, and among some other Ashkenazi Jewish groups influenced by Hasidism.
