Grey Butte Field, outside El Mirage, California, is used by General Atomics as an operational testing facility for their Predator drones.

The company also provides research and manufacturing services for remotely operated surveillance aircraft, including the Predator drones, airborne sensors, and advanced electric, electronic, wireless, and laser technologies.
The TRIGA nuclear reactor was one of the first General Atomics projects.
The Predator UAV is made by General Atomics affiliate General Atomics Aeronautical Systems.
