Govind Padmasoorya, popularly known by his initials GP, is an Indian television presenter actor who works mainly in Malayalam cinema and a few Telugu films. He made his debut in the movie Atayalangal directed by M. G. Sasi.

I. G. – Inspector General is a 2009 Indian Malayalam-language action drama film written and directed by B. Unnikrishnan. The film stars Suresh Gopi in the title lead role, with Govind Padmasoorya, Nandini and Ashish Vidyarthi in supporting roles.
