Hockley County, Texas

Hockley County is a county located in the U. S. state of Texas. As of the 2010 census, its population was 22,935, its county seat is Levelland. The county was created in 1876, but not organized until 1921, it is named for a secretary of war of the Republic of Texas. Hockley County comprises the Levelland Micropolitan Statistical Area, included in the Lubbock–Levelland Combined Statistical Area. Hockley County was formed in 1876 from portions of Young Counties, it was named for George Washington Hockley, the commander of artillery in the Battle of San Jacinto and Secretary of War of the Republic of Texas. According to the U. S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 909 square miles, of which 908 square miles are land and 0.2 sq mi is covered by water. U. S. Highway 62/U. S. Highway 82 U. S. The population density was 25 people per square mile. The 9,148 housing units averaged 10 per square mile; the racial makeup of the county was 74.38% White, 3.72% Black or African American, 0.82% Native American, 0.13% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 18.68% from other races, 2.22% from two or more races. About 37.24 % of the population was Latino of any race. Of the 7,994 households, 38.10% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.40% were married couples living together, 11.50% had a female householder with no husband present, 23.80% were not families, 21.20% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.00% had someone living alone, 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.77 and the average family size was 3.22. In the county, the population was distributed as 29.10% under the age of 18, 11.80% from 18 to 24, 25.90% from 25 to 44, 20.60% from 45 to 64, 12.60% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 33 years. For every 100 females, there were 96.30 males.

For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.20 males. The median income for a household in the county was $31,085, for a family was $35,288. Males had a median income of $29,735 versus $20,671 for females; the per capita income for the county was $15,022. About 14.80% of families and 18.90% of the population were below the poverty line, including 24.10% of those under age 18 and 12.60% of those age 65 or over. Eusebius of Emesa

Eusebius of Emesa was a learned ecclesiastic of the Greek church, a pupil of Eusebius of Caesarea. He became the bishop of Emesa; the Latin form of his name is Eusebius Emesenus. After receiving his early education in his native town, he studied theology at Caesarea in Palestine and Antioch, philosophy and science at Alexandria. Among his teachers were Eusebius of Caesarea and Patrophilus of Scythopolis; the reputation he acquired for learning and eloquence led to his being offered the see of Alexandria in succession to the deposed Athanasius at the beginning of 339, but he declined, the council of Antioch chose Gregory of Cappadocia, "a fitter agent for the rough work to be done." Eusebius accepted the small bishopric of Emesa, but his powers as mathematician and astronomer led his flock to accuse him of practising sorcery, he had to flee to Laodicea. A reconciliation was effected by the patriarch of Antioch, but tradition says that Eusebius resigned his charge and lived a studious life in Antioch.

His fame as an astrologer commended him to the notice of the Roman emperor Constantius II, with whom he became a great favourite, accompanying him on many of his expeditions. The theological sympathies of Eusebius were with the semi-Arian party, but his interest in the controversy was not strong, his life was written by his friend George of Laodicea. He was a man of extraordinary learning, great eloquence and considerable intellectual power, but of his numerous writings only a few fragments are now in existence. A considerable number of his sermons are extant, although they have not always been recognised as his work. Butyaert discovered a manuscript at Troyes in 1914 containing a Latin translation of some sermons. A collection exists in Armenian, combined with some sermons of Severian of Gabala. Eastern Wu family trees

This article contains the family trees of members of the Sun clan, who ruled the state of Eastern Wu in the Three Kingdoms period in China. Sun Jian was an alleged descendant of the author of The Art of War. Sun Jian and Sun Qiang were twin brothers. Sun Jing was a younger brother of Sun Jian. Sun Jian had a younger sister. Xu Zhen and Sun Jian's younger sister had Xu Kun. Xu Kun's daughter married Sun Jian's son Sun Quan.1The identity of the father of Sun Jian, Sun Qiang and Sun Jing is not attested. Their father's name was not recorded in the historical text Sanguozhi. However, the Yu Lin, a collection of short stories by Pei Qi, mentioned that Sun Hao was a great-great-grandson of Sun Zhong. Since Sun Hao was a great-grandson of Sun Jian, it is deduced. Four of Sun Jian's sons – Sun Ce, Sun Quan, Sun Yi and Sun Kuang – and one of his daughters were born to his wife Lady Wu, Wu Jing's elder sister. Lady Sun married Liu Bei. One of the two other daughters was born to Sun Jian's concubine Lady Chen, she married Pan Jun's son Pan Mi.

It is not known who the mothers of the last daughter were. The last daughter was married to Hong Zi. Sun Ce married the older of Elder Qiao's two daughters. Zhou Yu married the younger daughter Xiao Qiao. Sun Ce's son was Sun Shao. Sun Shao's son was Sun Feng. Sun Ce had several daughters: one married Gu Yong's son Gu Shao, another married Lu Xun, another married Zhu Zhi's son Zhu Ji, it is not known. During the Tang dynasty, an unnamed 13th-generation patrilineal descendant of Sun Ce was recorded to have served as a Buddhist master at the Lingyin Temple. Sun Quan had ten wives: Lady Xie. Lady Yuan was Yuan Shu's daughter. Sun Quan had seven sons: Sun Deng, Sun He, Sun Ba, Sun Fen, Sun Xiu, Sun Liang and Sun Lü. Sun Quan had three daughters: Sun Luban, Sun Luyu, a third one whose name is unknown. Lady Xu was Sun Deng's adoptive mother, it is unknown who the mothers of the third daughter were. Sun Quan's third daughter was married to Zhu Ju but was remarried to Liu Zuan.1Lady Xu was not Sun Deng's mother.

However, under Sun Quan's instruction, she raised Sun Deng. Sun Deng saw her as his real mother. Sun Deng married Zhou Yu's daughter, he had three sons: Sun Xi and Sun Ying. It is unknown. Sun Ba married the daughter of Liu Yao's son Liu Ji. Sun Ba had two sons: Sun Yi, it is not stated. Sun He had two wives: Consort Zhang and Lady He. Consort Zhang was the daughter of Zhuge Jin's daughter. Lady He was the daughter of He Sui. Sun He had four sons – Sun Jun, Sun Hao, Sun De and Sun Qian – and one daughter, whose name is unknown. Sun Hao was born to Lady He, Sun Jun and the daughter were born to Consort Zhang, while the identities of the mothers of Sun De and Sun Qian are unknown. Sun He's daughter married the son of Lu Kang and Lady Zhang. Both Sun He's daughter and Lu Jing were therefore Zhang Cheng's maternal grandchildren. Sun Hao had three wives. Two of them were Zhang Bu's daughters; the third one was Teng Mu's daughter Teng Fanglan. Sun Hao's biography in the Sanguozhi stated: In 269, Sun Hao instated his son Sun Jin as crown prince, as well as instating the princes of Huaiyang and Dongping....

In 273, he renamed "Prince of Huaiyang" and "Prince of Dongping" to "Prince of Lu" and "Prince of Qi" respectively. He instated the princes of Chenliu and Zhangling, seven other princes, making 11 princes in total.... In 278, he instated the princes of Chengji and Xuanwei, nine other princes.... In 280, he instated the princes of Zhongshan and Dai, nine other princes. Wang Jun's biography in the Jin Shu confirmed the identity of the "Prince of Lu" as Sun Qian; the biography of Emperor Yuan in the Jin Shu mentioned Sun Hao's son Sun Fan, while the biography of Zhou Chu mentioned Sun Hao's son Sun Chong. It might be possible that Sun Fan and Sun Chong were among the 32 sons, apart from Sun Jin and the Prince of Lu, mentioned in Sun Hao's biography. Otherwise, Sun Hao would have had 36 sons in total. There are no records of Sun Hao's daughters nor any records of the identities of the mothers of his sons. Sun Xiu married the daughter of Zhu Ju and Sun Luyu. Sun Xiu had four sons: Sun Gong, Sun Mang and Sun Bao.

It is not stated. Sun Liang married the daughter of Quan Shang. Sun Yi was married to Lady Xu, they had Sun Song. Sun Kuang married the daughter of Cao Cao's younger brother, they had Sun Tai. Sun Tai's son was Sun Xiu. Sun Xiu's son was Sun Jian. Sun Qiang had two sons: Sun Fu. Sun Ben was elder than Sun Fu. Sun Ben had four sons: Sun An, Sun Xi and Sun Ji. Sun Lin was the eldest of the four. Sun Ben had a daughter, married to Cao Cao's son Cao Zhang. Benjie E. Wimberly

Benjie E. Wimberly is an American teacher and Democratic Party politician who represents the 35th Legislative District in the New Jersey General Assembly, he is the head coach of the football team at Hackensack High School and is serving as the recreation director of Paterson. Wimberly graduated from Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne, New Jersey, Virginia State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology. Wimberly was an assistant coach for Eastside High School in Paterson from 1989 through 1994, he served as the head coach of the football team at Paterson Catholic High School from 1995 through 2010, when the school ceased operations. In his last seven years at Paterson Catholic, Wimberly amassed a 70–3 win–loss record, mentored Victor Cruz. During his 16 years as coach, Paterson Catholic won seven state championships. Wimberly became the head coach of the football team at Hackensack High School in 2012, succeeding Mike Miello, he is serving as Paterson's Recreation Director.

In 2010, Wimberly was elected to the Paterson city council. Several of his former students volunteered for his campaign, as he courted the youth vote in a method similar to Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential election. Wimberly won election to the New Jersey General Assembly in 2011, was reelected in 2013; each of the 40 districts in the New Jersey Legislature has one representative in the New Jersey Senate and two members in the New Jersey General Assembly. The other representatives from the 35th District for the 2014–2015 Legislative Session are Senator Nellie Pou and Assemblywoman Shavonda E. Sumter, he serves on the following Assembly Committees: Telecommunications and Utilities and Judiciary. He serves on the Joint Committee on Economic Justice and Equal Employment Opportunity and the Joint Committee on the Public Schools. Wimberly considered a run for mayor of Paterson in the 2014 election. Wimberly and his wife, have four children, his oldest son Justin played high school football for Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey, New Jersey.

Measuring instrument

A measuring instrument is a device for measuring a physical quantity. In the physical sciences, quality assurance, engineering, measurement is the activity of obtaining and comparing physical quantities of real-world objects and events. Established standard objects and events are used as units, the process of measurement gives a number relating the item under study and the referenced unit of measurement. Measuring instruments, formal test methods which define the instrument's use, are the means by which these relations of numbers are obtained. All measuring instruments are subject to varying degrees of instrument error and measurement uncertainty; these instruments may range from simple objects such as rulers and stopwatches to electron microscopes and particle accelerators. Virtual instrumentation is used in the development of modern measuring instruments. In the past, a common time measuring instrument was the sundial. Today, the usual measuring instruments for time are watches. For accurate measurement of time an atomic clock is used.

Stop watches are used to measure time in some sports. Energy is measured by an energy meter. Examples of energy meters include: An electricity meter measures energy directly in kilowatt hours. A gas meter measures energy indirectly by recording the volume of gas used; this figure can be converted to a measure of energy by multiplying it by the calorific value of the gas. Kardinia Church is a multi-campus church based in Bell Post Hill, Australia, with campuses in Ballarat, Bell Post Hill and Melbourne. The church was established in 1915 as the Drumcondra Church of Christ, it is led by Senior Pastors Leonie Wright. Drumcondra Church of Christ was established in 1915, it reopened as the Manifold Heights Church of Christ. The church relocated to its present site in Bell Post Hill; the church became known as Kardinia Christian Fellowship. In 2001, the fellowship became Kardinia Church. Since Kardinia has continued to expand with campuses in four locations throughout Victoria.
