Pandit Hridaynathji Mangeshkar is an Indian music director. He is the only son of musician Deenanath Mangeshkar and younger brother of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. He is popularly known as Balasaheb in the music and film industry.

Deenanath Mangeshkar was an Indian actor, a Natya Sangeet musician and a Hindustani classical vocalist who was active in Marathi theatre. He is also the father of well-known singers Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Meena Khadikar and Usha Mangeshkar as well as composer Hridaynath Mangeshkar.
