John Albert Johnson was an American politician. He served in the Minnesota State Senate from January 1897 to January 1901. He was the 16th governor of Minnesota from January 4, 1905, until his death on September 21, 1909 as a member of the Democratic Party.

St. Peter is a city and the county seat of Nicollet County, Minnesota United States. It is 10 miles north of the Mankato – North Mankato metropolitan area. The population was 12,066 at the 2020 census. It is home to Gustavus Adolphus College.
