Jorge Kajuru Reis da Costa Nasser, better known as Jorge Kajuru is a sports journalist, broadcaster, television presenter, businessman and Brazilian politician affiliated with the Brazilian Socialist Party (PSB), being a senator for the state of Goiás. Between 2017 and 2019, he was a councilor of Goiânia, being the most voted in the city in the 2016 election.

The Federal Senate is the upper house of the National Congress of Brazil. When created under the Imperial Constitution in 1824, it was based on the House of Lords of the British Parliament, but since the Proclamation of the Republic in 1889 and under the first republican Constitution the Federal Senate has resembled the United States Senate.
