José Buscaglia Guillermety is an educator and sculptor. He is a Fellow of the National Sculptor Society and a founding member of the Academy of Arts and Sciences of Puerto Rico.

Jesús T. Piñero Jiménez was the first and only native Puerto Rican to be appointed governor of Puerto Rico by the Government of the United States.
