Kaduysky District is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-six in Vologda Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast and borders with Belozersky District in the north, Cherepovetsky District in the east and in the south, Ustyuzhensky District in the southwest, and with Babayevsky District in the west. The area of the district is 3,300 square kilometers (1,300 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality of Kaduy. Population: 17,109 (2010 Russian census); 18,653 ; 19,988 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Kaduy accounts for 66.0% of the district's total population.
