Kangaroo is a 2015 Tamil language action thriller film written and directed by Samy and produced by V House Productions. The film features newcomers Arjuna, Varsha Ashwathi and Sri Priyanka in the lead roles, while Thambi Ramaiah, Ganja Karuppu, and Kalabhavan Mani play supporting roles. The music was composed by singer Srinivas, and the film released on 24 April 2015.

Thambi Ramaiah is an Indian actor, director and comedian who works in the Tamil film industry. He has also worked occasionally as a lyricist. He directed three films, Manu Needhi (2000), Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan (2008) and Maniyaar Kudumbam (2018). He has won one National Film Award, two SIIMA Awards, two Tamil Nadu State Film Award and one Filmfare Award South in his career.
