Kawanehon is a town located in Haibara District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 August 2019, the town had an estimated population of 6,731 in 2895 households and a population density of 13.4 persons per km². The total area of the town was 496.88 square kilometres (191.85 sq mi).
