Lana Popham is a Canadian politician representing the riding of Saanich South in the Legislature of British Columbia. As a member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party, she has served in the Executive Council since 2017, currently as the Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport. She was first elected in the 2009 provincial general election to the 39th Parliament and then re-elected in 2013, 2017 and 2020 to the 40th, 41st and 42nd Parliaments.

2009 British Columbia general election
The 2009 British Columbia general election was held on May 12, 2009, to elect members of the Legislative Assembly in the Canadian province of British Columbia. The British Columbia Liberal Party formed the government of the province prior to this general election under the leadership of Premier Gordon Campbell. The British Columbia New Democratic Party under the leadership of Carole James was the Official Opposition.
