Lucius Eugene Chittenden was an American writer, banker, lawyer, politician and peace advocate who served as Register of the Treasury during the Lincoln administration.

Broughton Harris was a Vermont businessman and political figure. He was Secretary and Treasurer of Utah Territory, and became one of the Runaway Officials of 1851.
