Maledetto il giorno che t'ho incontrato is a 1992 Italian romantic comedy film directed by Carlo Verdone. The film won five David di Donatello Awards, for best screenplay, best actor, best cinematography, best editing and best supporting actress. For her performance Margherita Buy won the Ciak d'oro for best actress.
The David di Donatello Award for Best Director is a film award presented annually by the Accademia del Cinema Italiano to recognize the outstanding direction of a film director who has worked within the Italian film industry during the year preceding the ceremony.
