Malena Grisel Alterio Bacaicoa is an Argentine-born Spanish actress. She became a television icon in Spain for her performance in sitcom Aquí no hay quien viva, playing the role of Belén López Vázquez. She is the recipient of numerous accolades, including a Goya Award for Best Actress for her performance in Something Is About to Happen (2023).

Aquí no hay quien viva is a Spanish television comedy series focusing on the inhabitants of the fictional building at the address Desengaño 21 in central Madrid. The series debuted on the Antena 3 network, and was later rerun by the same network as well as cable/satellite channels Neox and Paramount Comedy. Antena 3 Internacional satellite channel broadcasts the series to Latin America. The series debuted in 2003 and became popular thanks to its amusing characters, witty script, and capacity to integrate and poke fun at contemporary issues; the program presents a caustic satire of many of the archetypes found in Spanish society.
