Meleparambil Anveedu is a 1993 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy-drama film directed by Rajasenan and scripted by Raghunath Paleri from a story by Gireesh Puthenchery. It stars Jayaram and Shobana, with Narendra Prasad, Meena Joseph, Jagathy Sreekumar, Janardanan, Vijayaraghavan, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, and Vinu Chakravarthy in supporting roles. The film was produced and distributed by Mani C. Kappan. This film is considered one of the best comedy movies in Malayalam cinema and has a cult status. It was remade in Tamil twice, as Valli Vara Pora (1995) and Naiyaandi (2013). Kappan remade the film in Assamese as Borolar Ghor (2012).

Rajasenan is a former Indian film director, former actor, former businessman and former politician who has worked in Malayalam cinema. He is one of the most successful directors in 90s Malayalam film industry. Rajasenan also worked in the TV serial industry. He directed some serials and also acted in some. He is mostly remembered for his association with actor Jayaram and the popular duo has worked together in 16 movies.He was contested in 2016 Kerala legislative assembly election as the BJP candidate from Aruvikkara consistuency and he was also a Kerala state council member of BJP.Later he joined CPM and after some months he quit politics to focus in films..As an actor his notable role is a hijada role named "Thulasi" in Njanum pinne oru njanum film released in 2023. Now he is living retired remote life in Thiruvananthapuram.
