Meridian Community College is a public community college in Meridian, Mississippi. Founded in 1937, it was originally named Meridian Junior College but changed its name in 1987.

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is an international honor society of students seeking associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, or other college credentials. Its headquarters are in Jackson, Mississippi and it has more than 3.5 million members in nearly 1,300 chapters in ten nations.
