In the ATP doubles ranking his career high was No. 187, achieved in October 2017. He was the No. 1 Swedish player. He retired following the announcement of an 18-month suspension for violating anti-doping rules in July 2023.

Sinner has won 13 ATP Tour singles titles, including a Grand Slam title at the 2024 Australian Open and two Masters 1000 titles. He has reached the semifinals at Wimbledon as well as the quarterfinals of the French Open and US Open. At the end of the 2023 season, Sinner was runner-up at the ATP Finals and led Italy to the Davis Cup crown.
