Minister of Agriculture (Italy)
The minister of agriculture, food sovereignty and forests is the head of the Republic of Italy's Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests. The ministry had been abolished by legislative referendum in 1993, during a period of great upheaval and financial sacrifices, but it was reconstituted in the same year until it assumed the current name in 2006.

Giorgia Meloni is an Italian politician who has been serving as the prime minister of Italy since October 2022, the first woman to hold this position. A member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2006, she has led the right-wing Brothers of Italy (FdI) political party since 2014, and she has been the president of the European Conservatives and Reformists Party since 2020.
