Minister of Finance (Norway)
The Minister of Finance is a councilor of state and chief of the Ministry of Finance. The position is since October 2021 held by Trygve Slagsvold Vedum of the Centre Party who is a member of Støre's Cabinet. In coalition governments, the leader of the largest junior party is usually made Minister of Finance, and may serve, de jure or de facto, as Deputy Prime Minister.

Council of State (Norway)
The Council of State is a formal body composed of the most senior government ministers chosen by the Prime Minister, and functions as the collective decision-making organ constituting the executive branch of the Kingdom. The council simultaneously plays the role of privy council as well as government Cabinet.
The council meets in the Royal Palace, Oslo
