Muhammad: The Messenger of God is a 2015 Iranian Islamic epic film directed by Majid Majidi and co-written with Kambuzia Partovi. The film, set in the sixth century, revolves around the childhood of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Mohsen Tanabandeh is an Iranian actor, director and screenwriter. In 2022, he won the Orizzonti Award for Best Actor at the 79th Venice International Film Festival for his performance in World War III (2022). He has received various accolades, including three Crystal Simorgh and four Hafez Awards.
