Nanning Wuxu International Airport
Nanning Wuxu International Airport is an international airport serving Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Autonomous Region, China. It is located 32 km (20 mi) south-west of the centre of the city. The airport was built in 1962, with improvements made in 1990. Terminal 2, with an area measuring 189,000 m2 (2,030,000 sq ft), opened on 25 September 2014. It is designed to handle 16 million passengers annually. The number of passengers reached 1 million in 2002, and jumped to 2 million by 2006. In 2016, 11.56 million passengers used the airport.

Nanning is the capital and largest city by population of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Southern China. It is known as the "Green City (绿城) " because of its abundance of lush subtropical foliage. Located in the South of Guangxi, Nanning is surrounded by a hilly basin, with a warm, monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate.
