Purple Radio is Durham University's Official Student Radio Station. Purple broadcasts online 24 hours a day from October until June each year. Purple Radio was known as Purple FM and Purple 107; the station has been located variously within Dunelm House. Traditionally during this time the station aimed to run for two four week RSL FM broadcasts per academic year; the station broadcast on frequencies around 105.4 FM, though a frequency of 107 FM was retained. During the November 1999 broadcast pioneering use was made of outside broadcast equipment that utilised the University's internal telephone network to send transmissions from remote locations to the studio. During 2000 Purple FM was simulcast over the internet for the first time. In the summer of 2002 the station moved into the home of Durham Students Union; this move was made to the make the station more accessible and open to students from all parts of the university. The first broadcast to be made from the new studio was another four week FM broadcast in October of that year on the same frequency as previous licences.
A further such FM broadcast followed in November to December 2003. The suite of rooms used by Purple Radio were the same used by the station prior to its move to Hild Bede college in the 1990s; the station re-branded itself as Purple Radio in late 2004 in order to launch a 24-hour internet service via its website. In addition the award of a local FM licence to the new Durham FM, preparing to launch in 2005 made it difficult for the station to apply for RSL licences; the first internet-based broadcast began on the first day of Epiphany term 2005, but was forced off air in late February after heavy snow storms leaked into the studio and damaged much of the station's equipment. After a studio re-build and a change of executive, the station was re-launched a year on 16 January 2006 and completed its longest period of continuous broadcasting on Friday 23 June. Since this time, Purple Radio has been broadcasting 24 hours a day during term time, except in exceptional circumstances. Beginning October 3, 2016, Purple Radio launched its complete overhaul to include a brand new logo and the introduction of Purple Radio On Demand.
Work began on 17 March with the design of the new logo completed by the end of May. The website was designed over the Summer. September 2016 marked the acquisition of additional space, allowing Purple Radio to expand its office and begin plans for a second permanent studio. Purple Radio Website
Herrick is a village in Shelby County, United States. The population was 524 at the 2000 census. Herrick is located at 39°13′9″N 88°59′3″W. According to the 2010 census, Herrick has a total area of all land; as of the census of 2000, there were 524 people, 197 households, 136 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,442.8 people per square mile. There were 221 housing units at an average density of 608.5 per square mile. The racial makeup of the village was 99.62% White, 0.19% from other races, 0.19% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.38% of the population. There were 197 households out of which 36.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.3% were married couples living together, 8.6% had a female householder with no husband present, 30.5% were non-families. 25.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.7% had someone living alone, 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.66 and the average family size was 3.24.
In the village, the population was spread out with 30.7% under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 25.2% from 25 to 44, 18.1% from 45 to 64, 17.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females, there were 103.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.6 males. The median income for a household in the village was $24,722, the median income for a family was $30,000. Males had a median income of $30,227 versus $20,000 for females; the per capita income for the village was $11,243. About 18.1% of families and 22.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 32.2% of those under age 18 and 9.1% of those age 65 or over
IPv4 Residual Deployment is an IPv6 transition mechanism for Internet service providers for deployment of Internet Protocol version 6, while maintaining IPv4 service to customers. The protocol and sample applications are specified in RFC 7600. IPv4 Residual Deployment has three main features: Mesh topology: between two endpoints, IPv4 packets take the same direct routes as IPv6 packets. Shared IPv4 addresses: to deal with the unavoidable IPv4-address shortage, several customers can be assigned a common IPv4 address, with disjoint TCP/UDP port sets assigned to each. Stateless operation: conversions of IPv4 packets into IPv6 packets at domain entry, the reverse at domain exit, are stateless. Compared to other IETF-specified mechanisms having the same main features, i.e. MAP-E and MAP-T, its distinctive property is that it supports: Full IPv4-fragmentation transparency: with this feature, support of the path MTU Discovery of RFC 4821, recommended in RFC 6349, is preserved. Without it, wherever firewalls filter ICMP packets, end systems that support RFC 4821 lose their ability to take advantage of paths that support large packets.
Applicability of IPv6 packet inspections to IPv4: when traversing IPv6-only domains, converted IPv4 packets are ordinary IPv6 packets, with their contents unchanged and valid in IPv6. Thus, IPv6 filters that are performed within the IPv6-only domain, e.g. for Access Control Lists, Web caches, Deep packet inspections, are and automatically, effective on domain-traversing IPv4 packets. MAP-E only supports the former, MAP-T only supports the latter. If an ISP wants to offer residual IPv4 service across an IPv6-only domain, provides customer-premises equipment to all its customers of this domain, it can choose any of MAP-E, MAP-T, or 4rd, with due awareness that MAP-E and MAP-T are specified in standards-track RFCs, while 4rd is, at least so far, specified in an experimental-track RFC: the chosen mechanism remains purely internal to each domain; the key that permits to combine IPv4-fragmentation transparency with IPv6 deep packet Inspection in a single design is the use of a reversible packet translation at Domain Entries and Exits.
This is possible because IPv6 packet headers, duly complemented with their Fragment headers whenever needed, are large enough to encode in them, in an ad hoc way detailed in RFC 7600, all useful IPv4-header information.. IP-layer options of IPv4 are not supported in 4rd, but without practical consequence because end systems are adapted to the fact that, for security reasons, IPv4 IP-layer options are filtered by many routers. Another issue about which the 4rd specification goes beyond those of MAP-E and MAP-T concerns fragmented IPv4 datagrams. In MAP-E and MAP-T specifications, the only described behaviors involves datagram reassembly at domain entry before forwarding. In order to improve user-perceived performance, to reduce domain-entry processing, to reduce attack opportunities, the 4rd specification includes an algorithm whereby received fragments of large datagrams are forwarded one by one on the fly; the first "4rd" specification, unlike the current one of RFC 7600, used IPv4 encapsulation in IPv6 packets, the only known tunneling approach at that time to ensure complete IPv4 preservation across IPv6-only domains.
It was the first proposal that combined stateless address mapping, mesh topology, A+P. Another stateless-mesh-A+P approach was next proposed, called dIVI. Instead of encapsulation, it used two successive translations, based on the existing SIIT one-way translations of RFC 2765. Compared to encapsulation, it had the advantage of making IPv6 packet inspections applicable to translated UDP and TCP IPv4 packets, due to limitations of SIIT, lacked full compatibility with IPv4 fragmentation. In this context, approval of one of the two designs as single standard seemed out of reach, despite the general wish for standard unicity. Two different directions were taken. One proposed to rename the 4rd encapsulation solution as MAP-E, to rename the double SIIT translation as MAP-T, to associate them into a combined specification named MAP; the idea was that, to satisfy the standard unicity objective, a specification having two variants, might be considered as equivalent to a single standard. But no consensus was reached on this interpretation.
The other was based on discovery that, as mentioned above, an upgraded IPv4-IPv6 double translation algorithm was possible that combined applicability of IPv6 packet inspections to IPv4, like MAP-T, full compatibility with IPv4 fragmentation like MAP-E. As the "4rd" acronym was no longer used for the encapsulation solution, this solution was named 4rd. A proposal to take this approach for a unique standard was made. But, despite a validation of its principle on an implementation, did not raise interest from supporters of either MAP-E, or MAP-T. After a long debate, the Softwire working group decided, in August 2012, that MAP-E alone would be standardized, that work could continue on both 4rd and MAP-T, but only as experimental. Andhra Pori is an Indian Telugu language film. It is Raj Madiraju's third film as a director after Rushi; the Andhra Association of Telangana petitioned the court against the film's title, arguing that the word Pori is an "objectionable word to degrade the self-respect of the girl". The court dismissed the plea; the film is an official remake of 2014 Marathi film Timepass starring Prathamesh Parab and Ketaki Mategaonkar, based on author Shaiju Mathew's novel Knocked Up that released in 2010. Narsingh is a Telangana boy; this leads to his mommy kicking him out the household for good. This leads to his akka starting to cry. Narsingh tries to fall in love due to his friends comments, he meets a rich bald guy, from Andhra. The guy slaps Narsingh at first, he has a daughter named Prashanthi. It is love at first sight for the little man, she is a smart and shy girl, afraid of her daddy. Narsingh to school, he sings a song, good! Narsingh than lands a job as movie distributor because he has no interest in school.
He is a drop out. Narsingh pronounced Prashanti's name as Pareyshanti, he just calls her Andhra Pori, which means Andhra girl. His movie boss encouraged him to be good old Narsingh but he still feels sad. Everybody is surprised that a smart girl like Andhra Pori would fall in love with a school dropout like Narsingh. Prashanti skips school many times; the teachers get suspicious and her grades fall down. Instead of being first rank like she always is, she became a lower rank like third; this leads to her hitting her with a ruler. Narsingh is worried. Since he lost his true love, he decided to go back to school, his mom sees him outside of the house studying a math textbook and somehow still leave him outside to study though she proud. It is cold outside and Narsingh is still outside. There are many songs in this movie. In the film, there was a challenge to climb up a water pipe and will get a lot of money. Narsingh needs the cash because his mom felt unconscious and they owe a lot of money to people.
It takes him a long time to climb the pipe. He makes it to the top, he is happy. Prashanti faints, she was lucky. After her birthday Prashanti's family is moving, her family beats her up again. Andhra Pori left and Narsingh realizes he is way too young for true love, he wants to be good in school first fall in love. He runs away smiling and the credits say To Be Continued
Kailasa is an Indian fusion band, founded by Kailash Kher. The name of the band is taken from an accented pronunciation of Kailash's own name as well as Mount Kailash, the abode of Hindu God Shiva. Along with guitars and keyboards, the band incorporates classical Indian instruments and sometimes traditional lyrics into their songs to infuse folk and a Sufi hue. Such an influence can be observed in songs'Teri Deewani' and'Albela Saajan' from their eponymous debut album. Similar theme can be found in another of their song'Babam Bam' from the album'Jhoomo Re' where the singer is persuading Lord Shiva. Due to the complex nature of musical arrangement in their songs, Kailasa involve artists other than band members in the recording process to play instruments like Harmonium, Tabla Sarangi, Iranian Setar, Rabab, Oud, Santoor, Mor Chang, Khartal etc; the artists are credited for their work in each of their album. The band has performed in more than 100 cities worldwide including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Malaysia, San Francisco and New York. Kailasa performed at the annual festival of maharishi markandeshwar university, Amity University at Noida on 18 February 2011 and at the Manipal Institute Of Technology,Manipal,Karnataka,on 27 March 2012. Kailasa performed at Indian Institute of Information Technology,Allahabad in December 2011 and at the Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi on the 17th of Match 2013.
They performed in the Techno-Management symposium of Nirma University of Science and Technology during February 2013. The band performed on 28 March 2013 in the annual college festival of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology- Zodiac, they performed at Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Matunga on 7 August 2013 as a part of the'What's your Kathagaan?' contest, announcing the winners at the event. On 10 August 2013 they performed on TCS' Youth Festival in Indore city. In 2017 Kailasa rock the show at IIT Delhi on their Annual cultural extravaganza named'Rendezvous', they performed in the Alva's Virasat in Moodbidri on 14 January 2018.
