Neuruppin is a town in Brandenburg, Germany, the administrative seat of Ostprignitz-Ruppin district. It is the birthplace of the novelist Theodor Fontane and therefore also referred to as Fontanestadt

Ruppiner See is a lake in Ostprignitz-Ruppin, Brandenburg, Germany. At an elevation of 36.5 m, its surface area is 8.25 km2. It is believed to have formed as a glacial tunnel valley.
