Niruta Singh is an Indian actress known for her work in Nepali cinema. She received wide acclaim for her performance in the 2001 film Darpan Chhaya, which became the highest-grossing film of all time in the Nepali film industry.

Dakshina is a 1994 film directed by Tulsi Ghimire who made this movie as a gift (dakshina) to his mentor (guru) Kamlakar Karkhanis. He had promised his mentor to make 10 Nepali films. Dakshina became one of the biggest hits of Tulsi Ghimire's films.
