Northwest Orient Airlines Flight 710, a Lockheed L-188 Electra, disintegrated in-flight and crashed near Cannelton, Indiana on March 17, 1960. The flight carried 57 passengers and six crew members. There were no survivors.

Tell City is a city in Troy Township, Perry County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. It is located along the Ohio River. The population was 7,506 at the 2020 census. The city is the county seat of Perry County.
A statue of William Tell and his son sits upon a fountain outside city hall. It is a famous city landmark.
