Oru Yathramozhi is a 1997 Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by Prathap Pothan, based on a story by Priyadarshan and a screenplay by John Paul. It stars Mohanlal and Sivaji Ganeshan. It was produced by V. B. K. Menon and distributed by Anugraha Release. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja.

Pratap Pothen was an Indian actor and filmmaker who acted in about 100 films and directed 12 films. He appeared in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu as well as Hindi films. He also worked as a scriptwriter and producer for films.
