Petersburg is a city within Washington Township and the county seat of Pike County in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 2,304 at the 2020 census.

Pike Central High School is located in Petersburg, Indiana, United States. It is the only public high school in Pike County. It is a part of the Pike County School Corporation.
