Poramon 2 is a Bangladeshi Bengali romantic drama film directed by Raihan Rafi and produced by Abdul Aziz. It is distributed by Jaaz Multimedia. Starring Siam Ahmed and Puja Cherry and Bapparaj in the lead roles. It is the sequel of 2013 film Poramon starring Symon Sadik and Mahiya Mahi. The film was released in Eid Ul Fitr of 2018 and music directed By Rizvi Hasan.. The film was a commercial success. It is a remake of the 2007 Tamil language film Paruthiveeran.

Siam Ahmed is a Bangladeshi Bollywood television and film actor. He made his debut Bangladeshi telefilm Bhalobasha 101 and he is best known for his debut role in the film Poramon 2 (2018) directed by Raihan Rafi. He is also well known for his various roles in Bengali TV dramas. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor twice for his roles in Bishwoshundori (2020) and Mridha Bonam Mridha (2021).
