Preben Van Hecke is a Belgian former professional road bicycle racer, who competed professionally between 2004 and 2019 for the Relax–Bodysol, Predictor–Lotto and Sport Vlaanderen–Baloise. He won the Belgian National Road Race Championships in 2015, out of a two-man breakaway with Jürgen Roelandts.

Belgian National Road Race Championships
The Belgian National Road Race Championship is a cycling race which decides who will become Belgian national champion for the year to come. The men's record for most wins is currently held by one of the most successful Belgian sprinters, Tom Steels, who managed to take four road championship titles.
