Rena is the administrative centre of Åmot Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located at the confluence of the rivers Glomma and Rena. It is located about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) north of the village of Åsta and about 60 kilometres (37 mi) south of the village of Koppang. The 2-square-kilometre (490-acre) village has a population (2021) of 2,216 and a population density of 1,107 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,870/sq mi).
