Richland Township is one of nine townships in Whitley County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,786 and it contained 702 housing units.

It is part of the Fort Wayne Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Fort Wayne–Huntington–Auburn Combined Statistical Area.
