Robert "Bob" Saint was a British composer, musician and animal welfare activist from Hebburn, South Tyneside, best known for his 1930s brass band composition "Gresford", about the Gresford disaster and known as "The Miners' Hymn". Saint was also a significant campaigner for animal welfare, particularly of pit ponies.

Hebburn is a town in the South Tyneside borough of Tyne and Wear, England. It was formerly in County Durham until 1974 with its own urban district from 1894 until 1974. It is on the south bank of the River Tyne between Gateshead and Jarrow and opposite Wallsend and Walker.
