Roy Powell (rugby league, born 1965)
Roy Colin Powell was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played at representative level for Great Britain and at club level for St John Fisher, Leeds, Bradford Northern, Featherstone Rovers, Batley and Rochdale Hornets, as a prop or second-row.

The Batley Bulldogs are an English professional rugby league club in Batley, West Yorkshire, who play in the Championship. Batley were one of the original twenty-two rugby football clubs that formed the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895. They were League Champions in 1924 and have won three Challenge Cups.
