Harold Fraser, known professionally as Snub Pollard, was an Australian-born vaudevillian who became a silent film comedian in Hollywood, popular in the 1920s.

Louis Weiss was an American independent producer of low-budget comedies, westerns, serials, and exploitation films.

The company produced a series of short films between 1926 and 1928 featuring the comic character Winnie Winkle. Ethelyn Gibson played Winnie in all of them. This is Weary Winnie from 1927.
