The Cong - Viettel Football Club, commonly known as The Cong or by its most recent former name Viettel FC, is a Vietnamese professional football club based in Hanoi. The club belongs to Viettel Sports Co. Ltd, a part of Viettel Group and competes in the V.League 1, the top tier of the Vietnamese football league system.

The 2023 Vietnamese National Cup is the 31st edition of the Vietnamese National Football Cup, the premier knockout competition in Vietnamese football. A total of 24 clubs competed in this edition, including all teams from the top two tiers of the Vietnamese football league system. The competition began on 31 March 2023 with the first-round matches, and will be concluded on 20 August 2023 with the final.
