The Supermen Lovers is the stage name of French electronic music producer Guillaume Atlan. Following his 2001 hit single "Starlight", Atlan was nominated at the French contest Victoires de la Musique in 2002, and at the 2001 MTV Europe Music Awards for Best French Artist.

The 2001 MTV Europe Music Awards were held in The Festhalle, Frankfurt. The ceremony attracted the largest television audience for the awards until 2007 and was one of the first entertainment broadcasts following the September 11 attacks in New York City.
