Club de Fútbol Tigres de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, internationally known as Tigres de México, and often abbreviated to Tigres UANL, is a Mexican professional football club based in the Monterrey metropolitan area, Nuevo León, Mexico. Founded in 1960, the club has spent 60 years in Liga MX, the top tier of the Mexican football league system.
Lucas Lobos was of great importance in achieving the 2011 Apertura title, ending 29 years of drought without title.
