Thomas Kevin Layne is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He previously pitched for the San Diego Padres, Boston Red Sox, and New York Yankees of Major League Baseball.

The University of Mount Olive is a private university in Mount Olive, North Carolina. Chartered in 1951, the university is sponsored by the Original Free Will Baptist Convention and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
