Tony Annese is an American football coach. He is the head football coach for Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, a position he has held since 2012. Annese served as the head football coach at Grand Rapids Community College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, from 2009 to 2011, leading his teams to two National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II championships, in 2009 and 2011. Annese led the Ferris State Bulldogs to consecutive NCAA Division II Football Championship titles in 2021 and 2022.

The Ferris State Bulldogs are the athletic teams that represent Ferris State University, located in Big Rapids, Michigan, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sporting competitions. The Bulldogs compete as members of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for 14 of 15 varsity sports, while the men's hockey team plays in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. The Bulldogs have been members of the GLIAC since 1972.
