Treve is a French Thoroughbred racehorse who was the 2013 European Horse of the Year after being unbeaten in four races as a three-year-old. These included the Prix de Diane, Prix Vermeille and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.

The Prix de Diane, sometimes referred to as the French Oaks, is one of the most important Group 1 horse races in France open to three-year-old thoroughbred fillies. It is run at Chantilly over a distance of 2,100 metres, and it is scheduled to take place each year in June.
