The eighth season of Two and a Half Men premiered on CBS on September 20, 2010, and ended on February 14, 2011. The season was the last season with Charlie Sheen as its main star, who will be replaced by Ashton Kutcher in the following season. Being composed of 16 episodes, the season was the shortest season of the series up to that time, although season 12 would later have the same number of half-hour episodes.

As Alan's marriage falls apart and divorce appears imminent, he and Jake move into Charlie's beachfront Malibu house and complicate Charlie's freewheeling life.
