Ustje is a village in the Vipava Valley south of Ajdovščina in the traditional Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. It is now generally regarded as part of the Slovenian Littoral.

The Vipava is a river that flows through western Slovenia and north-eastern Italy. The river is 49 kilometres in length, of which 45 km in Slovenia. After entering Italy it joins the Isonzo/Soča in th
