Velgast is a railway station in the town of Velgast, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The station lies on the Rostock-Stralsund railway and Velgast-Barth railway and the train services are operated by Deutsche Bahn and Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn.

Stralsund–Rostock railway
The Stralsund–Rostock railway connects the two Hanseatic cities in the north of the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The single-track electrified main line is part of the German Unity Transport Project No. 1 (Lübeck–Rostock–Stralsund).
