Volzhsky, Volgograd Oblast
Volzhsky or Volzhskiy is an industrial town in Volgograd Oblast, Russia, located on the east bank of the Volga River and its distributary the Akhtuba, 20 kilometers (12 mi) northeast of Volgograd. Population: 321,427 (2021 Census); 314,255 (2010 Russian census); 313,169 (2002 Census); 268,842 (1989 Soviet census).
