The Windy City ThunderBolts are a professional baseball team based in the Chicago suburb of Crestwood, Illinois, in the United States. The ThunderBolts are a member of the Frontier League (FL), as a member of the West Division. Since 1999, the ThunderBolts have played their home games at Ozinga Field. Formerly known as the Cook County Cheetahs, in 2004 they received a new ownership group, name and mascot. The Cheetah/ThunderBolts franchise has existed since 1995.
